Celebrating the Life of Ralph Raymond Kerchner, Jr.

This is the recording from the memorial service for Grandpa, held on October 28, 2006, in McKinney, Texas. I think the whole family agreed that it was a true celebration, and a moving, inspiring, and fitting tribute to the man we all knew and loved.

  • Yeah, thanks Josh. You did an awesome job contributing to honoring Dad in several ways, just setting up the podcast in the first place too. Karen

  • Josh,

I just finished listening to the funeral service podcast. What a great tribute to someone I admired very much, and who went out of his way to always make me feel like a part of the family too. Your interview with him on the beach in Tahoe leaves me with such a fitting mental image - that of a generous and thoughtful man who loved to provide the best of all possible worlds for his family. I can picture the smile on his face as he's surveying the scene of kids and grandkids playing together around him with a heart full of nothing but gratitude.

He certainly knew how to live life well.
